WVWC’s Hobbs qualifies for NCAA Outdoor Championships in 100-meter dash

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — After a standout 2022 campaign, West Virginia Wesleyan sophomore sprinter Ny’Tierra Hobbs qualified in the 100-meter dash for the three-day NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships meet hosted by Grand Valley State in Allendale, Michigan, starting on Thursday, May 26 to Saturday, May 28. 

In her last meet, Hobbs posted a blazing fast time of just 11.67 seconds in the event to earn qualification into the big meet. Only a total of twenty-three athletes made the cut for the event.
