WVWC track and field performers earn Atlantic All-Region honors

NEW ORLEANS – All-Region honors for the 2021 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field season were announced on Friday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team.

Both West Virginia Wesleyan track & field programs were represented including the WVWC women being recognized for the top 4x100 relay performance in the Atlantic Region.

Lady Bobcat women's track broke school records in the 4x100 and 4x400 relays while Faith Gandy set a new program mark in the 100-meter dash. Several other records and personal bests were shattered throughout the 2021 outdoor season.
