FROSTBURG, Md. — The WVWC men’s tennis team looked like the definition of competitive greatness in the “Battle of the Bobcats,” as they swept Frostburg State in their road matchup on Wednesday, April 20.
WVWC got out to an early advantage over Frostburg in the early games, as they swept all three doubles matches. WVWC continued their stronghold of the match as they claimed five of the six singles matchups. Junior Anthony McIntosh and sophomore Ethan Thomas both took home straight set victories at #5 and #6-seed lines to give WVWC a 3-0 lead. Freshman Khiro Karasawa, Junior Taylor Papworth and junior Camillo Salvi all won their match-ups in straight sets to round out the scoring for WVWC.
