BUCKHANNON — West Virginia Wesleyan athletic programs accomplished something for the first time in modern school history this Winter/Spring semester, all 20 programs finished with a GPA above 3.0.
Despite sports seasons being cut short in March, WVWC student-athletes remained competitive over the ensuing months of the semester, collectively finishing with a strong 3.418 GPA. WVWC transitioned to online learning on March 18 due to COVID-19.
Regarding academic honors, 63 student-athletes secured a spot on the President's List with a 4.0 GPA. An additional 158 student-athletes grabbed Dean's List honors, finishing with a GPA above 3.50.
