WVWC A&T 450 Salto Toss Team wins Big 10 Championship, qualifies for NCATA National Championships

BUCKHANNON — The West Virginia Wesleyan College Acrobatics and Tumbling program made history as its 450 Salto toss team, consisting of: Kayla Wade, Megan Miles, Tiara Stokes, Sydney McKinnon, Ali Ditchen and Cait Josef earned the first national NCATA qualification in program history.  

The Lady Bobcats 450 Salto toss team qualified for the individual events portion of the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association National Championships after claiming the Big 10 Conference individual event championship last Monday, April 11: with a score of 9.150 and a qualifying score of 9.70. 

With the win, the Lady Bobcats punched their ticket to compete in the event finals held at the end of this month, on Saturday, April 30 at 11 a.m. Pacific Standard Time inside Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Oregon, hosted by the University of Oregon.
