ELLAMORE — The first annual West Virginia Strawberry Festival Berry Bandit “Glow After Dark Ride” was held on Saturday, November 6, 2021. The 49-mile ride began at the Long Run entrance, continued through Mill Creek and concluded on the Kingsville tunnel end.

People from all over came to attend and support the community event including participants from Ohio, Virginia, and many parts of West Virginia including Bartow and Martinsburg.

“It turned out so much better than we had expected, and we were very pleased with the results,” exclaimed Committee Chair Carrie Mills. “With 109 buggies and 222 people in attendance for the first night ride was spectacular. We doubled the money this time from earlier rides and are planning to do another ‘Glow After Dark Ride’ next year.”

The WVSF Board extends thanks to kind sponsors, the Ringers, Mike Ross, and High Point Construction Group, LLC.
