W.Va. DHHR COVID-19 update – March 28


CHARLESTON — The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR) reports as of March 28, 2022, there are currently 406 active COVID-19 cases statewide. There have been 4 deaths reported since the last report, with a total of 6,743 deaths attributed to COVID-19.

“Every life lost to this deadly virus leaves a hole in a family, a community and our state,” said Bill J. Crouch, DHHR Cabinet Secretary. “I offer my deepest sympathies to all who are mourning a loved one today.”
