The Record Delta welcomes Pauley as sports intern

Dylan Pauley

BUCKHANNONThe Record Delta would like to formally introduce our new sports intern, Dylan Pauley. He is the son of Dwight and Judy Pauley and brother to Tyler Pauley.

Pauley is a senior at West Virginia Wesleyan College (WVWC) majoring in Communication, while minoring in Criminal Justice and Broadcasting.

The senior is originally from Red House, West Virginia, where he attended and graduated from Buffalo High School. There he played four years of varsity baseball and two years of varsity football. He was also the Volunteer Assistant Coach for the Buffalo High School Baseball team during their 2021 season.

Pauley is a member of the Chi Phi Fraternity, where he has held two positions and has been chair for multiple committees. He also is a member of WE LEAD, an invisible illness team that brings awareness to often misunderstood topics.

Pauley’s favorite thing about Buckhannon is the small-town atmosphere that makes him feel like he is still at home. While he will always have a sincere love for West Virginia, he looks forward to creating a new journey wherever his opportunities may take him.

While studying at WVWC, Pauley has become passionate about finding a career in Sports Journalism. He is very excited to begin this new journey with The Record Delta and finds that this position will give him great experience in continuing his career.
