The Record Delta website all-access free trial ends Monday

I hope everyone has been enjoying the all-access free trial of The Record Delta’s revamped website. Since the beginning of March, we’ve seen reader engagement like never before. Thank you so much for helping make the launch amazing.

Unfortunately, the people who work super hard to bring you all that great content have informed me they would like to eat again, so as of Monday the website will begin operating in normal subscription mode. Here’s what that means:

* For subscribers, nothing will change except that you’ll have to make sure you’re logged in to the site. You’ll continue to have access to all the content on the website, from news to sports to the full E-Edition.

* Everyone else gets 10 free stories per month, and after that you’ll be asked to subscribe.

If you find yourself frequently hitting the 10-story limit, please do purchase a subscription — the digital version is only $89 a year. You pay that for music and movies, and we hope you’ll consider doing the same to have complete access to Upshur County news, sports, opinion, classifieds and more.

Your support is vital. A strong, thriving local news organization helps make a community more vibrant. We keep an eye on local government and let you know how your tax dollars are being spent. We report on crime and emergencies to help keep you safe. We cover sports and education to give our kids recognition for their hard work. We promote local businesses to keep our economy healthy.

Again, thank you for making the relaunched website’s first month a success. Please keep reading, liking, sharing and commenting. Let us know when we’re doing good, and when we can do better.

If you’re not yet a customer, we hope you’ll keep using the website and enjoy the 10 free articles each month. If you find value in what we do, click that subscribe button and help support Upshur County’s hometown newspaper.
