Tennis Lady Bucs tumble to Bridgeport, 7-0

BUCKHANNON – The Buckhannon-Upshur Lady Buc tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to the Bridgeport Indians Saturday morning at the West Virginia Wesleyan tennis courts.

The loss dropped the ladies to 0-9 on the season.

“The girls are slowly but surely getting better,” remarked Buckhannon-Upshur head coach Jason Rock. “Many of the girls had never played tennis before March 15th (first day of practice)! They have come a long way in a short time, and it is great to see them having fun learning and playing.”

The Lady Bucs were rained out Monday against Philip Barbour.

They will return to action today at Bridgeport and will travel to Wheeling Park on Wednesday.
