Tennis Bobcats blank Bloomsburg, 7-0

MORGANTOWN – The West Virginia Wesleyan tennis Bobcats cruised to a 7-0 victory over Bloomsburg on Saturday at the Summit Tennis Academy.

Wesleyan improved to 3-1 with the win.

Earning single wins were Lukas Laipod at No. 1, Carlos Dodero Fernandez at No. 2, Harry Simaiofordis at No. 3, Alexander Lyudinovskiy at No. 4, Thomas McIntosh at No. 5 and Taylor Papworth at No. 6.

In doubles action, Dodero and Fernandez won at No. 1 and Papworth and Anthony McIntosh won at No. 2.

Wesleyan was slated to play Methodist University at Fayetteville (NC) on Monday.

They will return to action today against Belmont Abbey College in Belmont (NC).
