Tennerton Lions Club performs service project


TALLMANSVILLE — The Tennerton Lions Club took a break from raising money to do a service project. The Club did not attend Festival Fridays this past week but instead picked up trash along the first 2 miles of the Tallmansville Road from Route 20 South. The following members helped with the clean-up; Lions Bob Garrison, Chair; Dwayne Brown, Roger Able and Bob Anderson collected six bags of trash. On Saturday Lions Bob Garrison, Nicholas Cutright and Frank Becker collected eight bags of trash on Lick Run Road. This is one of the Club’s service projects, Adopt-a-Highway. 

The next meet will be at the Tallmansville United Methodist Church on Monday, July 11 at 6:30 p.m. Food will be sold at Festival Fridays on July 1. The Club will be selling BBQ pulled pork along with famous all beef wiener with homemade beef chili.
