BUCKHANNON –Strawberry Essences has opened downtown, providing the residents of Buckhannon fresh fruit edible arrangements and traditional flower arrangements.
Geanna Sabatelli and John Sabatelli from Buckhannon, decided to pair up to provide folks with a product that is lacking downtown.
“We love this community and wanted to bring something here that people don’t have before,” Sabatelli said. “John is trained is the culinary field, and I am a trained florist, so we make a perfect pair in this business,” Sabatelli added.
The main focus of Strawberry Essences is freshness.
“Everyone is health conscious these days and people want to eat fresh,” Sabatelli said. “So, our main focus is fresh.” Strawberry Essences prepares chocolate dipped strawberries and strawberry shortcake along with edible arrangements, and fruit cups. “We will also provide larger fruit trays for parties,” Sabatelli said. “These trays consist of combinations of; cherries, strawberries, raspberries, apples, grapes, bananas, blueberries, and white chocolate pretzels.”
Strawberry Essences also offers edible arrangements on their menu with fruits such as pineapple, strawberries, cantaloupe, melon balls, oranges, apples, grapes and chocolate covered fruit. However, customers can decide the type of fruit and arrangement style of their choice.
“We will make an arrangement with the types of fruit a customer prefers,” Sabatelli said.
