CHARLESTON — On October 1, Stonerise Healthcare (Stonerise) announced updates to its wage scale and benefits for team members throughout West Virginia and southeast Ohio. Stonerise has permanently raised its starting wage for all team members to $12 per hour. Additionally, the company provided a one-time “hero bonus” of $150 to its front-line team members to recognize their efforts throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
“In order to recruit and retain the best talent, we must provide an equitable wage scale, inclusive of a competitive starting hourly wage,” Stonerise Chief Executive Officer Larry Pack said. “There are no greater investments we can make as a company than those we make in our team members. Providing competitive pay and benefits ensure our team members can build meaningful careers while taking care of themselves and their loved ones.”
Stonerise also increased the starting base pay for all Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to $13.50 per hour. “CNAs are an instrumental part of our healthcare delivery team and represent our largest team member group,” Pack said.
Stonerise employs more than 3,000 healthcare professionals throughout West Virginia and southeast Ohio.
Stonerise has set goals of continually increasing starting wages for its team members. The last starting-wage increase was in April 2020 to $10. All full-time employees also receive a competitive benefits package, tuition reimbursement and advancement opportunities. “As a company, we are committed to providing competitive wages to continue to be an employer choice in the communities we serve,” Pack said.
Stonerise is actively recruiting for new team members to work as part of its network of transitional and skilled nursing care centers, therapy, home health care and hospice service lines. Interested individuals can explore available opportunities by visiting www.stonerisehealthcare.com/talent.
