TENNERTON — The West Virginia State Police is asking for the public’s help in identifying this alleged shoplifter.

On Black Friday, a man entered Ace Hardware and stole several items, according to Trooper P.J. Robinette with the Buckhannon detachment. The man has a tattoo on his neck and appeared to be in his 40s.

“It happened right after 9 p.m. as there were still people in the store,” Robinette said.

Security footage shows the man putting two hammers down his pants and stealing a tape measure, pair of gloves and two sets of razor blades.

“He walked out of the store and then walked into the woods on the other side of Kroger,” Robinette said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the WVSP at 304-473-4200.
