Soccer Lady Bucs hike record to 5-1 as they roll past Grafton, 8-2


TENNERTON – The Buckhannon-Upshur soccer Lady Bucs recorded an 8-2 win over the Grafton Bearcats in Big 10 Conference action Tuesday night at the high school.

The Lady Bucs built a 3-0 at the half with goals by Lexi Kelley, Maggie Nolte and Maggie Queen.

The Lady Bucs racked up five more goals in the second half, getting two from Queen and one from Cameron Zuliani, Catherine Oliveto and Ava Hollen.

The Lady Bucs outshot Grafton by a 23-3 margin and owned a 4-0 margin in corner kicks.

Kyndal Davis played the entire game in net for the Lady Bucs and turned away one shot.

The Lady Bucs improved to 5-1 overall and 4-0 in the Big 10 Conference.

They will visit  Clarksburg today for a 7:30 p.m. Big 10 Conference  contest with Liberty and will host Wheeling Park Saturday at noon in a non-conference clash.
