Slick roads send car over embankment

FRENCH CREEK — Several days of snow and ice on the Alton Road were no match for this small car Friday morning.

A single vehicle accident occurred at 6:45 a.m. when a green 2016 Chevy Sonic driven by Steven Boggs, age 23, slid off the road and rolled over an embankment. Boggs and his 18-year-old passenger, Alexis Noel, were reportedly uninjured in the wreck.  Slick roads were the main contributing factor listed as the cause of the accident.

According to the investigating officer, Chief Deputy Mike Coffman, On Star called the crash in and enabled first responders to quickly come to their rescue.
