Shake a tail feather at Festival Fridays

BUCKHANNON — It’s once again time to shake your tail feather at the annual Festival Friday! Friday, June 3 will be the return of Create Buckhannon’s first full Festival Friday of 2022. The fun, music and food filled event will be hosted at Jawbone Park, located on Madison Street.

The 2022 season will be kicked off with a country rock performance by The Jesse Milnes Band. Be sure to bring a chair or blanket to enjoy the show.

The location will give everyone who visits a chance to see over 700 valor banners hanging in honor of local heroes. Create Buckhannon works diligently to ensure that Festival Fridays and its location bring everyone who attends, great joy. Opening bands will play from 5 to 6 p.m., with the headliner bands preforming from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Vendors, both visiting and local, will be set up each Friday to offer handmade and locally sourced goods for purchase. The list of vendors can change each Friday, so be sure to stop by and see what they have to offer. There will also be food available for purchase and pre-order each Friday.

Create Buckhannon will have their state-of-the-art chicken cooker fired up to offer delicious BBQ chicken dinners.

Festival Fridays are a great way to visit with old friends, make new acquaintances and enjoy free, amazing entertainment.
