Richard L. Weaver, 64, of McComb, passed away at 1:05 p.m., Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. He was born on July 2, 1958 in Toledo to the late Cloyce and Marie (Yerger) Weaver. He married the love of his life Rose (Stechschulte) on July 24, 1995, and she survives.
Richard is also survived by his daughters: Lindsay (Quincy) Jackson, of Hilliard, and Melinda S. Kaufman, of Grove City; son, Ronald (Roni) Kaufman, of Bluffton; brothers: Ed Weaver, of Toledo, and Rick (Jane) Weaver, of W.Va.; sisters: Venessa (Paul) Groat, of Toledo, and Tina (J.R.) Leamen, of Wash.; his beloved grandchildren: Nikeea Heston, Teneea Heston, Shylee Kaufman, Sacoya Jackson, Ronald Kaufman, Kamea Kaufman and Peylee Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Shawndala Kaufman, and sister, Tammy Marie Weaver.
Richard was employed at the Whirlpool Corporation, where he has worked since 1991. He enjoyed his Harley Davidson motorcycles, participating in the Toys for Tots, golfing, classic cars and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings, but his greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, November 18, 2022 at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, 205 W. Sandusky Street, Findlay. Burial will be in McComb Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., prior to the service at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home.
