TENNERTON — Ralph Robert “Bob” Kelley, “Peabody,” age 66, of Camden Avenue, Buckhannon, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, at his home.
He was born on Sept. 15, 1950, in Upshur County, a son of the late Boyd and Zelma “Belle” Kelley.
He is survived by his wife and companion of 26 years, Norma Loudin Wayts-Kelley; two sons: Robert M. Kelley and wife Shasta of Buckhannon and Justin A. Kelley and wife Kim of Weston; one stepson David J. Wayts and wife Cheryl of Buckhannon; one stepdaughter Marsha Wayts-Riffle of Buckhannon; seven grandchildren: Shelby, Desiree, Kesia, Dakota, Robert II, Cora, and Carbon; three stepgrandchildren: Natalie, Jeffrey, and Seth; seven great-grandchildren and one on the way; one half-brother James Westfall and wife Sue of Rock Cave; one half-sister Patty Cutright of Rock Cave; one brother-in-law Thomas D. Loudin and wife Alice M. of French Creek; one sister-in-law Ok Chin Loudin of Ohio; one nephew Phillip A. Loudin and wife Heather of Ohio; and his beloved four-legged friend, Punky.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother-in-law William H. Loudin.
Mr. Kelley was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Vietnam War and was a life member of the VFW. He was an avid fan of football and Nascar and enjoyed camping, fourwheeling, fishing, and playing cornhole and darts.
