Ralph Lee Kniceley, age 84, of Buckhannon, WV, died Thursday, September 16, 2021, at his home.
He was born September 18, 1936, in Sutton, WV, a son of the late Roy and Martha Blankenship Kniceley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: James, Bob and Olney Kniceley; and six sisters: Pauline Mayes, Betty Williams, Elizabeth “Libby” Marsh, Mary Kniceley, Lillian Kniceley and Geraldine Bryant.
He is survived by one son, Kevin Kniceley and wife Barb, of Charleston, SC, and bonus son, Mark Cunningham and wife Tracy, of Buckhannon; two grandsons, BJ Thomas, of Buckhannon, and Grant Cunningham, of Raleigh, NC; two granddaughters, Nicole Kniceley, of OH, and Carson Cunningham, of New York City, NY; one brother, Charlie Kniceley, of Jane Lew, WV; one sister, Mildred McCoy, of Buckhannon; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Kniceley was a member of the Full Gospel Church. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a Coal Miner and Homebuilder. Ralph loved to go deer hunting, spend time with his grandkids and watch football on Saturday and Sundays.

Friends will be received Tuesday, September 21, 2021, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Chad Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
