Quarantined patients can still vote

BUCKHANNON — If you want to vote while in quarantine, you need to call the Upshur County Clerk’s Office at (304) 472-1068 and you will still be able to vote.

You will need to notify the Clerk’s Office that you are in quarantine, then they will verify with the Upshur-Buckhannon Health Department that you are indeed in quarantine.

Special considerations are in place for you to exercise your right to vote. No one will have anything else verified other than you are in quarantine. Being in quarantine does not mean you are a positive case. No one will know your status unless you disclose it.
