Pets of the Week: Looking for furever homes

Meet Addie and Jazzy.  They are just two of the wonderful dogs at the Lewis-Upshur Animal Control Facility in need of new homes. An array of adorable cats and kittens are available for adoption at the shelter as well.

Addie is an adorable 10-month-old mixed breed puppy.  She loves attention and walks well on a leash.  Addie gets along with her kennel mate and is nice to the shelter kitties.  She sadly came to the shelter as an owner surrender for being “too much puppy”.

Jazzy is a petite one-year-old female Cur mix.  She was found in Upshur County as a stray.  Jazzy is very sweet, loves attention, and gets along with other dogs.  She would make a great addition to a family.

If you’d like to meet Addie, Jazzy, or any of the other loving animals needing a furever home, please visit the L-UAC facility located on Mud Lick Road in Buckhannon.  Many other dogs and cats are also available, so stop by and meet them. L-UAC is always in need of volunteers if you are looking for a rewarding and worthwhile cause to assist.  They are open Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to noon, or you can call 304-472-3865.
