One vehicle causes major damage in Friday evening accident

BUCKHANNON — First responders were called to The Outpost, located on Brushy Fork Road, on Friday evening, April 8, to the scene of a multiple car accident.

According to witness statement, a dark grey Ford Explorer was traveling south on Brushy Fork Road when it veered off, entering The Outpost parking lot, striking four parked vehicles. The vehicles belonged to individuals attending an auction, hosted by owner Aaron Harris. Three of the four vehicles involved were allegedly totaled, with the fourth receiving a large amount of damage to its passenger side.

Exact details of the accident were unavailable at the time of press. However, Buckhannon Fire Department responded and the West Virginia State Police detachment of Buckhannon is investigating. As of now, the incident is still under investigation.
