Nadine was also involved in the promotion and operation of Elkins Motor Speedway in the 1960s and 1990s.
Nadine was Methodist by faith. She was musically inclined and enjoyed listening to classic country music, dancing, and playing musical instruments. Nadine also enjoyed cooking for her family, playing bingo, sketching and drawing, writing poems and rhymes, vegetable and flower gardening, and she was a talented seamstress. She had a great sense of humor and had a smile that could light up a room.
