Mountain Chic Boutique hosts ribbon cutting

BUCKHANNON — Jessica Scarrett, owner of Mountain Chic Boutique, has had an online shop and social media presence for the past two years. On Friday, she celebrated her new brick and mortar store with members of the Upshur County Commission, Buckhannon Mayor Robbie Skinner and City Recorder Randy Sanders. In addition to these city officials, Scarrett was joined by her staff and patrons to celebrate.

“One of the reasons I started Mountain Chic Boutique, and to bring it to brick and mortar, is to get more on a personal level. I’ve been present online for couple of years but I wasn’t getting that personal interaction. I’m so excited to get into the store and get that personal interaction with my customers,” said Scarrett.

Mountain Chic Boutique is located at 25 West Main Street. The stores hours of operation are Tuesdays through Fridays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Online shopping is still available and can be done through the shop’s website at mtnchicboutique.com. In addition, follow Mountain Chic Boutique on Facebook for updates from the store.
