Mark Anthony Gainer, 56, of Horner passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019, in the comfort of his own home. He was born on April 5, 1963 in Weston, a son of the late Charles Glen and Estaleen Virginia Lawson Gainer. On September 28, 1996 he married his loving wife, Connie Sue Foster. After 22 wonderful years of marriage she will greatly miss her partner and best friend. In addition to his wife, Mark is survived by three children: Mark Alan Gainer and wife,Samantha, Laura Lea Gainer and Thomas Glen Gainer all of Horner; three grandchildren: Brantley Gainer, Layla Buckhannon and Paige Buckhannon; twin brother, Matthew Allen Gainer and wife, Connie, of Horner; two brothers: Ronald Gainer and wife, Peggy, of Horner, and Larry Gainer of Jane Lew; many nieces and nephews; and good friend, Bernie McCourt. His parents and one sister, Janet Gainer, preceded Mark in death. Mark worked as a mechanic for Louis’s Radiators for 23 years. He was a mechanic by trade but also for fun. Mark loved working on vehicles especially his Chevy mud trucks. He and his twin brother, Matthew, spent time together fixing their trucks and going to the mud bogs. Mark also worked for the Weston Sanitary Board for 14 year. In his spare time he enjoyed deer hunting and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. Mark will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Family and friends will gather at Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service located at 144 Hackers Creek Rd. in Jane Lew from 12-2 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2019. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday in the Pat Boyle Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Mike Riffle officiating. Interment will follow at Peterson Cemetery in Weston.
