Little Buc grapplers fall in debut to Bland, 60-30


WESTON – The Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School Little Buccaneer wrestlers got the season off to a rocky start here last Dec. 4, falling to the Robert L. Bland Patriots, 60-30.

Buckhannon won five matches. Konner Reinking (78) and John Moss (84) won by forfeit, Michael Murphy (102) pinned Bush, Liam Garcia pinned Nottingham, and Oscar Blonn (190) pinned Carson.

The Little Bucs were slated to compete at South Harrison this past weekend.

They will return to the mat this Saturday when they host a duals tournament.
