Lewis Co. grand jury indicts three Upshur residents

Charges involve drugs, guns and welfare fraud

WESTON — Three Upshur County people were indicted by a Lewis County Grand Jury meeting this week.

Kasey Renee Heatherly Davisson, 29, of Buckhannon, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, methamphetamine, a felony; conspiracy to possess a controlled substance with intent to deliver, methamphetamine, a felony; possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, a misdemeanor; and possession of a controlled substance, hydrocodone, a misdemeanor.

Timothy Ray Spangler, 31, of Buckhannon, was indicted for being a felon in possession of a firearm, a felony; battery on government representative, a misdemeanor; obstructing a West Virginia Department of Natural Resources officer, a misdemeanor; possession of a controlled substance, Buprenorphine, a misdemeanor; driving while license suspended, a misdemeanor; and prohibited person in possession of a firearm, a misdemeanor.

Agnes Conrad Hunt 50, of Buckhannon, was indicted for welfare fraud, a felony.

The Lewis County Grand Jury returned 24 true bills, according to a press release from Prosecuting Attorney Christina Flanigan’s office.
