Lady ‘Cat netters open season with 5-1 loss to Lee-McRae


BRISTOL (Tenn.) – The West Virginia Wesleyan Lady Bobcats opened their spring tennis season last Friday with a 5-1 loss to Lee-McRae.

The lone win for the Lady Bobcats was at No. 1 singles where Ceclia Martinez defeated Sandy Allen, 6-3, 2-6 (10-8).

The Lady Bobcats, now 0-1 on the season, will return to action Wednesday when they host California (Pa.) University at 3:30 p.m.
