“Our regional meet was a huge success across the board,” remarked B-U head coach Will Squires. “We had every single swimmer swim at least one individual season best time. The girls started out rough with a DQ in the 200-yard medley relay which would have automatically qualified for states, but they bounced back really well as a team and ended up taking second place in the region.”

The state meet will be held on the campus at West Virginia University at the Natatorium and will be held next Thursday and Friday.

“Myself and Coach Brittany are super proud of all that our team has achieved this season,” concluded Squires. “They have worked week in and week out since late October, and we are happy that their hard-work has paid off so well. For those that qualified, we hope to have even more success in the following week.”
