Kesling Mill crash causes injuries, sends dog on the run

BUCKHANNON — At least one patient was transported for medical treatment following a two-vehicle accident at the Kesling Mill Road crossing Monday evening.

A red Jeep Patriot and a dark grey Jeep Liberty collided causing injuries. The accident is still under investigation and no further details were available at press time.

During the incident, a golden retriever named Maverick escaped from one of the vehicles and dashed off. It is unknown if the frightened pup was injured in the accident, but please call Barking Bathhouse at 304-642-8631 or 304-642-9581,  where Maverick’s owner works if you have any information on his whereabouts.

Buckhannon Fire Department and Upshur County EMS were on scene and assisting multiple patients. Upshur County Sheriff’s Department will be investigating, and The Record Delta will publish more information once it becomes available.
