Lewellyn and her twin sister, Makenzi Lewellyn, Shepherd, Kaitlyn Luterek and Breanna Morgan all qualified in individual events for the Lady Bucs, along with the 4x200 and 4x400 relays.
Shepherd, meanwhile, turned in a time of 49.73 in the 300 hurdles, Makenzi Lewellyn placed fourth in the pole vault (8-06), Luterek was fourth in the shot put (30-05.50) and Breanna Morgan third in the discus (100-03).
The qualifying 4x200 unit, comprised of Kennedy
Morgantown won the team title with 226 points. Wheeling Park (117), Brooke (74), Preston (57), B-U (56), John Marshall (14) and University (13) rounded out the field.
The state meet takes place Friday and Saturday at Charleston’s Laidley Field.
