The month of October was Alpha Delta Kappa month, which honors the founders of Alpha Delta Kappa. Founders’ Day celebrations were held by chapters, along with activities throughout the month.
Alpha Delta Kappa is a fraternal organization of women educators that envelope altruism, world understanding and educational excellence through fellowship. West Virginia Kappa Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa had a special reason to celebrate.
Imogene Wimer was honored as a charter member. She became a Diamond sister in October, as she has been a member for 60 years. Imogene was a founding member of Kappa Chapter, which also celebrates its 60th year. It was founded in October 1959 by Beta Chapter. Congratulations to Imogene for her dedication of 60 years to Kappa Chapter!
