Fourth graders learn to make fall desserts for St. Joseph’s employees


HODGESVILLE — The fourth graders in Mrs. Anderson’s class have been completing a hands-on project with various activities about fall. Last week’s activity was to cook fall themed foods. Students learned to read recipes and follow directions while making pumpkin no bake cookies and apple pie in a cup.

After making these delicious desserts, three trays of pumpkin no bakes and 62 apple pies were delivered to St. Joseph’s Hospital as a thank you for the employees and all the hard work they are doing to keep our community healthy and safe.
