Faye G. Williams


Faye G. Williams, 80, of Weston, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 3, 2019 in the comfort of her own home. She was born in Cameron, WV, on September 1, 1938, a daughter of the late Bennie Harley and Clara Virginia Fletcher Ward.  On February 25, 1956, she married the love of her life Ralph E. Williams and he will miss her greatly. 

In addition to her husband, Faye is survived by three children: Bob Williams of Weston, Ruth Ann Bleigh and husband, Walter, of Buckhannon, and Darrel Williams and wife, Tricia, of Weston; seven grandchildren: Ralphie, Misty, Clarissa, Kayla, Shannon, Josh and Matt; 15 great-grandchildren; one greatgreat-grandchild; four siblings:Beryl Ward and wife, Carmen, of Lordstown, OH, Meryl Dunn of Ohio, Margie Parsons and husband, Jim, of Tennessee, and Theo Jones and husband, Gary, of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ralph Edward Williams; grandson, Ronnie Williams; great-grandchild, Peyton Clark Kent Williams; three siblings: Charles Ward, Paul Ward and June Elias.

Faye attended and graduated from the Cameron High School Class of 1957 where she was an avid basketball player. She worked on water well drilling rigs. Faye also worked for 84 Lumber, Moore’s Business forms in Buckhannon, and later retired from Alkan Label Factory. She also enjoyed driving the stock car with her husband winning the Powder Puff Division five times. She will be greatly missed.

Family and friends will gather at Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service located at 144 Hackers Creek Rd. in Jane Lew from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2019. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2019 in the Pat Boyle Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Riffle officiating.
