TENNERTON — Edna Delia Anadon, 91, of Buckhannon, W.Va., went to be with her Lord and Savior, 7:50 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018 in the St. Joseph’s Hospital following a very brief illness. Born Jan. 12, 1927 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Carmen J. Anadon. She was also preceded in death by her infant son, Carlos Rolenson Anadon; sister, Sofia Rodriguez. Survivors include her five children: Jose A. Rolenson and wife Patricia J., Edna C. Figueroa and husband Francisco J. both of Buckhannon, Carmen Rolenson Anadon of Blacklick, Ohio, Jose L. Rolenson and wife Debbie of Buckhannon, and Maria T. Rolenson of Bayamon, Puerto Rico; 13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Edna was a homemaker, enjoyed sewing, word find puzzles, numbered crossword puzzles, cooking, raising flowers such as orchids and carnations. Her family was the light of her life, which included having family parties and holiday functions.
In keeping with Edna’s wishes cremation has been honored and a private celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
