TENNERTON — Edith Arlette Miller, 95, of Buckhannon, W.Va., passed away Monday, Feb. 6, 2017 at her residence following a lengthy illness. Born Oct. 20, 1921 she was the daughter of the late James Issac and Alice McCourt Brooks. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Duluth James Miller and a sister, Ethyl Brooks. Edith was a homemaker, Methodist by faith, loved reading, volunteered for the Upshur County Emergency Squad, and sewed.
Survivors include her two daughters, Linda Zickefoose and Karen Miller; one brother, Manzel Brooks and wife Lucy all of Buckhannon, W.Va.; two grandsons, Jeremy and Alan Stanley both of Buckhannon, W.Va.; two great-grandchildren; several nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2017 in the Tomblyn-Clutter Funeral & Cremation 21 Elnora Circle Buckhannon, WV 26201 with Pastor Michael Boggs officiating.
