MORGANTOWN — The Mon Health Heart and Vascular Center is pleased to welcome Dr. Sami Aljohani, to its staff. Dr. Aljohani will soon be practicing at the Mon Health Heart and Vascular locations in Elkins and Weston.
Dr. Aljohani is a graduate of Taibah University, College of Medicine in Saudi Arabia. He moved to the United States in 2012 where he performed his internship, residency, and fellowship at West Virginia University and knows the importance of cardiac care because of the state’s sobering statistics. Dr. Aljohani is married and spends his downtime traveling, reading, and watching movies.
“I was drawn to medicine after seeing the effects of limited healthcare access on my family members, Dr. Aljohani said. “Being able to work and live in an area where I can be of greatest help is my goal and calling West Virginia my home is an honor.”
