Downtown INK reopens for business

BUCKHANNON  Joe and Kim Shipley opened Infiniti Tattoos in 2005 in Elkins, West Virginia. In 2017, they expanded to Buckhannon and changed their name Downtown INK for the Upshur County location. During the structure fire on Main Street last October, they lost just about everything, but bounced back and didn’t let anything get them down.

They are now opened back up and stronger than ever. “We are excited to be bringing our artwork back to Buckhannon and surrounding areas,” expressed owner Joe Shipley.

The studio currently has five male artists and two female apprentices/piercing technicians between the two locations. They will be welcoming a new female apprentice in July of 2022.

They specialize in true custom work and flash tattoos and will work with any artwork you want to bring in of your own. They’re also very excited to be a part of our amazing community once again.

The studio welcomes folks from all walks of life and professions. The best part is if you would like a tattoo but do not have anyone to watch the kiddos, Downtown INK provides a fun, family environment where your children are welcome.

If you are interested in getting a tattoo by the best artists and in a very clean and comfortable environment, Downtown INK is the tattoo studio for you!

Go check them out at 14 North Kanawha Street in Downtown Buckhannon. Walk-ins are welcome. Hours of operation are as follows:

• Tuesday and Wednesday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• Thursdays 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

You can follow Downtown INK on their Facebook page or contact them at (304) 460-2135.
