TENNERTON — Donald Lee Bowyer, 58, of Buckhannon, passed away Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017 at his residence following a lengthy illness.
Born Sept. 16, 1958 at Akron, Ohio, he was the son of the late Wendel Paul and Dorothy Ann Smith Bowyer. Donald enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, avid hunter, former owner of Waste Water Management, and owner of City Limit Rentals in Elkins.
Survivors include his loving wife of 25 years, Vickie Cope Bowyer; two stepdaughters, Angel Wright Husk, of Hodgesville, Mandy Wright, of Elkins; four grandchildren, Zerrick Riffle, of Buckhannon, Shelby Calian, of Elkins, Kaelyn and Addisyn Husk, both of Hodgesville; one sister, Patricia Ann Kesling and husband Mike, of Kesling Mills; two brothers, Thomas Bowyer and companion Laura Leeson, of Weston, Jeffery Bowyer and wife Kelly, of Buckhannon; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017 at the Tomblyn-Clutter Funeral & Cremation 21 Elnora Circle Buckhannon, WV 26201, with Pastor Wease Day officiating. Interment will follow in the Heavener Cemetery at Buckhannon. Friends may gather on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017 from 11 a.m. until time of services.
