David Richard (Davey) Ireland, 42, of Yadkinville, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at home.
He was born in Elkins, West Virginia on February 6, 1979 to David Keith and Deborah Geneva Winters Ireland.
Davey is survived by his father, David of Yadkinville, NC and mother, Deborah Winters of Cary, NC. He is also survived by uncles: Arthur Ireland, Donald (Janet), Gary (Cindy), and David (Diana) Winters, and Gregory (Patty) Taylor; aunts: Linda (Reece) George, Jo-Ella Pauley, Jenny Williams and Sheron Ford; and many great aunts and uncles, as well as numerous cousins.
Davey was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Betty Ireland; maternal grandparents, Sara Hedrick Winters, and Richard and wife Mary Winters; and uncles, John and Dennis Ireland.
Davey worked several years in the Wildlife Retrieval and exterminating business, as well as the Landscaping industry.
Davey loved and was knowledgeable about animals and wildlife. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, the mountains, and the great outdoors. He loved car racing, especially Nascar. As a child, he loved to play soccer and wrestle.
There will be a Memorial Service to celebrate Davey’s Life on May 12, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Macedonia United Methodist Church located at 2700 Jones Franklin Rd Cary, NC 27518. To honor his life and wishes, he was cremated and his ashes will be spread in his beloved WV mountains at a later date.
