ELKINS — Dr. William Dalton, a board certified family medicine physician, has joined Davis Medical Center’s (DMC) group of family practitioners at the outpatient clinic Elkins.
Dalton was born in Trenton, MI and after to moving to West Virginia as a child, he and his family settled in Harts, W.Va. which still remains his parental home. He received his B.S. in Biology at Bethany College and then went on to receive his medical degree from Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington where he also completed his residency in Family Medicine.
Excited to join the Elkins community, Dr. Dalton enjoys documentaries, cooking/baking, spending time with family, friends and pets and enjoying the outdoors in his side-by-side and taking up novice kayaking.
“I’m looking forward to being able to offer continuity of care which was one thing I missed while working in urgent care,” Dalton said. “One of the best things about medicine for me is the excitement of seeing people take an active role in their healthcare and seeing the benefits of taking care of oneself.”
Before moving to Elkins and joining the Davis Health family, Dalton worked in urgent care and family care centers in Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia. Dr. Dalton is accepting patients by calling (304) 637-3894.
