SUTTON — The Buckhannon-Upshur High School boys’ cross country team traveled to Sutton for the 2021 Braxton Invitational on Saturday, September 25, 2021. The Buccaneers won first place with a total score of 21, followed by Webster County High School, then Braxton County.
Trey Stanley of Richwood High School took first all-around in the Individual Top 5 with a run time of 18:26.1. B-UHS runners took all four remaining positions in the Individual Top 5.
Jordan Gillum took second place with a run time of 18:30.1, Jack Waggy came in third with a time of 19:33.7, Reis Leonard placed fourth with a time of 19:52.4, and Brycen Allen secured fifth with a run time of 20:56.0. The Bucs led in first with a 14-point lead over Webster County.
