CCWV now requiring visit for symptomatic patients

With the onset of flu season, there are a myriad of viruses and illnesses that have symptoms that may be similar to COVID-19.  To provide the best possible healthcare, Community Care of West Virginia (CCWV) will now require symptomatic patients to be seen by a provider.

Further, asymptomatic patients wishing to be tested may do so at our primary care and CareXpress locations from 9 a.m. until noon each day with a PCR COVID test as supplied to CCWV through the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources. Rapid tests will be reserved for symptomatic patients.
