BRIDGEPORT – The Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneer basketball team simply couldn’t overcome a sloppy start to their game with the Bridgeport Indians in a Big 10 Conference battle Wednesday night at Bridgeport High School.

Drew Hogue scored the first eight points for Bridgeport as they took their 8-0 lead with 4:48 gone in the game.

The Bucs finally got on the board at the 4:27 mark when Harrison Walker put in a basket in the paint and then Josh Loudin made a baseline jumper to cut the lead to 8-4.
