Buckhannon Toyota donates to Buckhannon-Upshur baseball team

Buckhannon Toyota recently donated $1,200 to the Buckhannon-Upshur baseball to help with their 2019 Elimination Dinner this Saturday at the Moose Lodge. TENNERTON – The Buckhannon-Upshur High School baseball team is holding their annual elimination dinner this Saturday at the Buckhannon Moose Lodge.

Making a recent contribution to the elimination dinner was Buckhannon Toyota who donated $1,200 to the baseball team to help cover the cost of the dinner.

“The Buckhannon-Upshur high school baseball players, coaches and boosters club would like to thank all of the local businesses that donated money and auction items for our annual elimination dinner coming up this Saturday,” remarked B-U booster president Matt Hurst. “We are extremely grateful for the donation made by Kip Cottrill and Buckhannon Toyota. Kip’s donation will cover the cost of the food for the elimination dinner, which is our main fundraiser for the upcoming season.”

The grand prize will be $1,000 and door prizes and an auction will be held.

Tickets are $25 and you need not be present to win.

Tickets will also be sold at the door.

Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. with a prime rib dinner and the eliminations beginning at 6 p.m.
