BUCKHANNON – A Buckhannon man was arrested at St. Joseph’s Hospital for possession of meth on Wednesday.
Khori Wayne Simmons, 22, of Buckhannon, allegedly had three needles, one white container and one black zipper case containing multiple small bags, five small bags with a white, crystal-like substance in them, according to the criminal complaint in the Upshur County Magistrate Clerk’s office.
Patrolman Tanner Collins had been called to St. Joseph’s Hospital where he found Simmons.
Magistrate Kay Hurst set bond at $10,000 for the misdemeanor.
If convicted, Simmons faces confinement in jail of not less than 90 days to six months and/or fined not more than $1,000.
