TENNERTON — Brenice Gwendoline Morgan, 96, of Port Orange, Fla., died Monday, Jan. 16, 2017, in Port Orange. She was born on Sept. 26, 1920, at Weaver, Randolph County, a daughter of the late Walter W. and Ethel Corder Jones. She was united in marriage to Stephen M. Morgan, who preceded her in death on Sept. 21, 2014. She is survived by one son Michael Stephen Morgan of Port Orange; three granddaughters: Jennifer Coffey, Erin Teuton, and Heather Daniel; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister Mary Jane Shreeves.
Mrs. Morgan was employed as a bearing inspector for the Timken Roller Bearing Company for 40 years and 3 months. In retirement, she enjoyed volunteering for Habitat for Humanity.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, at the Pine Grove Cemetery at Czar, with Pastor Rufus Hofelt officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the South Haven Christian Church, 2430 Tomoko Farms Road, Port Orange, FL 32128.
