BREAKING: Man missing from residence

BUCKHANNON — The Buckhannon Police Department is searching for Jerry Koon, 58, who was last seen on Saturday, June 17 at his residence on Barbour Street. Koon is 5 feet 9 inches tall, approximately 200 pounds and has short brown hair and green eyes. He wears glasses and is disabled, either walking with the assistance of a cane or using a motorized wheelchair. Jerry could possibly be in a tan Kia Sportage with West Virginia registration WL 35366. Koon is entered into NCIC as a missing person.
The Buckhannon Police Department has been coordinating with the Buckhannon Fire Department, CERT, Upshur County OEM, Upshur County Sheriff's Department, W.Va. State Police, Upshur County Communication Center and Upshur County EMS in its search for Koon. If anyone locates Koon or knows of his whereabouts, they are urged to contact Sgt.
